Rawbank informs its customers and partners that Mr. Thierry TAEYMANS has requested a leave of absence for personal reasons.

In order to cope with the urgent need to take decisions related to the management of the Bank during this period that the world is going through following the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic with its economic, financial and humanitarian consequences, the Board of Directors, meeting on Sunday, March 22, 2020, took note of his request and for strategic reasons, Mr. Mustafa RAWJI took over the functions of General Manager.

Rawbank, the leading bank in the Democratic Republic of Congo, with a network of nearly 100 branches and 1,700 employees, is adopting a series of measures to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus and ensure the protection of its customers and employees.  
In these circumstances of health crisis, Rawbank is strengthening its health measures to ensure the protection of its customers and employees within its entire network of branches.

 

Rawbank security guards take the temperature of customers and employees upon arrival at any branch, and distribute hydroalcoholic gel. Visitor entry is also regulated. The branches will not receive more than 20 people at a time and floor signs guarantee a distance of 1 meter between each customer.

In addition, and in order to protect its customers and staff, the opening hours of all Rawbank branches have been adjusted. They will be open from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm from Monday to Friday, and from 9 am to 12 pm on Saturdays, from this day onwards (except for a few counters with shifted hours).

Rawbank is committed to continuing to serve its customers. As a result, its 1,700 employees are mobilized to ensure continuity of service. The ATM network also remains operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The use of Rawbank digital tools such as Illico Cash and Rawbank Online is encouraged to limit travel.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Rawbank has closely monitored the health situation and continues to make the health of its customers and employees a priority.
