Rawbank partners with Rawsur to distribute insurance products

Kinshasa, December 3, 2021 - On 2 December 2021, Rawbank obtained the approval of the l’Autorité de Régulation et de Contrôle des Assurances (ARCA), the DRC regulatory and control authority, to distribute life and non-life insurance products..

Committed to promoting financial inclusion and access to financial products for as many people as possible, Rawbank thus becomes the first bank in the Democratic Republic of Congo to offer its customers both life and non-life insurance products. The Bank had already pioneered the offering of life insurance products to its customers as of October 2021 via its Privilege Banking packages (a series of tailor-made packages developed by the Bank allowing access to various banking products in a single subscription). From now on, travel, car, home and education insurance will be available individually to all clients in all Rawbank branches in Kinshasa. Customers will also be able to subscribe to other life insurance products beyond those offered through the packages. Rawbank. .

The insurance sector is in full development in the DRC today and Rawbank continues to diversify its activities and broaden its offering by becoming an intermediary in the distribution of insurance products.
