Thomas de DREUX-BREZE

A business school graduate, Thomas began his career in investment banking at Société Générale and Deloitte in Paris, where he spent 6 years advising company directors on their mergers and acquisitions projects. Working with entrepreneurs inspired him to set up his own business.

He created CookUp, a company offering subscriptions to gourmet food boxes, which he developed over 2 years before selling it to a competitor. On his return to the corporate world, Thomas took over responsibility for international purchasing and business development for an SME in the technical textiles sector.

In 2015, he joined Rawbank as Head of Strategy and Controlling. Between 2018 and 2020, in parallel with his position, he began an MBA, TRIUM (HEC Paris, London School of Economics and New York University) from which he graduated in 2020. Thomas is now Director of Strategy Devlopment, in charge of relations with international partners (fundraising, co-financing, etc.) and intrapreneurial projects (e.g. bankinsurance).

Baby PALLIPADAN

Baby PALLIPADAN, 55, is a chartered accountant who graduated from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in New Delhi in 1992. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calicut, India.

Baby Pallipadan is also “Fellow member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India”.

During his career, he has worked as a consultant in various sectors. Since his arrival in the DRC in 1995, he has joined the RAWJI Group in various capacities, notably at BELTEXCO RDC (from 1995 to 2002), at RAWBANK SA (from 2002 to 2013), and at the RAWJI Group Corporate Office in Dubai (from 2013 to 2021). He returned to the DRC as CFO a.i. at RAWBANK (in May 2021).

Isaac KALALA

Isaac KALALA holds a degree (Bac+5) in economic and social law and a (professional) diploma from the Institut Technique de Banque obtained at the Ecole Supérieure de la Banque de Paris (ex-CFPB). He began his professional career in 2006, in Kinshasa, as an intern in a law firm, before joining RAWBANK in 2008 after a brief stint with one of the local telecom companies.

In 2008, he held various positions within the Operations Department before joining the Legal Department as Legal Counsel. In June 2011, he was appointed Deputy General Counsel, with particular responsibility for Compliance. At the end of 2013, he piloted the project to make the Compliance function autonomous and separate from the Legal department, which he was de facto responsible for managing.

In 2020, he was appointed Head of Compliance, and is also in charge of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
