A new $20 million partnership between Rawbank and the Trade Development Bank (TDB)

Rawbank, the commercial bank of the Democratic Republic of Congo, has entered into a partnership with TDB, a financial institution leading African company, for an amount of 20 million dollars. Following an initial partnership worth $10 million in 2018, TDB, one of the continent’s largest multilateral development financial institutions with assets of over $6 billion, is renewing its confidence in Rawbank with a new $20 million agreement.

This entire new line of financing will be dedicated to supporting large Congolese companies and SMEs. style=”letter-spacing: -.25pt;”>affected by the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic. The launch of this partnership reflects the Bank’s commitment to supporting its customers during this difficult time.

The Bank has developed the Business Edge and Lady’s First training programs to build entrepreneurs’ capacities, facilitate their access to financing, and thus develop the local economic fabric.
