Saturday, May 23, was dedicated to disinfecting the building housing RAWBANK’s head office in Kinshasa. This umpteenth action is part of the series of activities initiated to fight against Covid-19 in the DR Congo. RAWBANK thus remains a committed bank involved in this fight on a national scale.
RAWBANK, fully committed to the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, proceeded on May 23 to disinfect and disinfest its head office called “Atrium.” It should be remembered that disinfection aims essentially to eliminate various pathogenic agents and to clean the environment; Therefore, the bank wanted to demonstrate, through a concrete example, that protecting its customers and agents remains its priority during this time of the Covid-19 health crisis.
From the top of its eight floors, the Atrium was completely disinfected by Afrik Services, a company specializing in this field, which requires experience and appropriate equipment.
Through this action, the bank sent a strong signal to all players in the banking sector in the DRC on the approach to follow and the strategy to implement to better combat Covid-19, given that their premises receive customers daily.
“We spent an entire day disinfecting our headquarters, while reminding agents of the need for this action and its continuity, or observe hygiene measures against Covid-19 during working hours,” said Mr. Karim Nouri, Fintech Director of the bank.
With this umpteenth action, the bank once again demonstrates its determination to fight the Covid-19 pandemic, which is hitting the entire world hard. It thus continues to advocate compliance with barrier gestures and hygiene measures to limit the spread of the coronavirus.
