The videoconference meetings were held from June 22nd to 29th. For a week, experts met to examine all aspects of the Grand Inga project, develop a roadmap for innovative investments, and prepare for the DRC’s participation in this major conference of heads of state, scheduled for September and October 2020, while taking into account the evolving health situation related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The next meeting will be part of regional cooperation to accelerate access to sustainable, clean energy. affordable and reliable. It will notably feature the participation of the High Representative, Raila Odinga of the African Union for Infrastructure Development in Africa; of the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, and the African Union Development Agency.
