{"id":2213,"date":"2019-04-18T12:18:05","date_gmt":"2019-04-18T10:18:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rawbank.com\/?p=2213"},"modified":"2023-06-01T11:28:33","modified_gmt":"2023-06-01T09:28:33","slug":"rawbank-organise-la-2eme-edition-du-ladies-brunch-a-kinshasa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rawbank.com\/la-banque\/en\/rawbank-organise-la-2eme-edition-du-ladies-brunch-a-kinshasa\/","title":{"rendered":"Rawbank holds the second edition of the Ladies\u2019 Brunch in Kinshasa"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"gmail-p1\"><b>A leading annual event for Congolese woman entrepreneurs, the Rawbank Lady\u2019s First group held the second edition of their Ladies\u2019 Brunch in Kinshasa.<span class=\"gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p2\"><b>This event concluded women\u2019s month and symbolized the Bank\u2019s commitment to the promotion of women.<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p2\">Organized in the Rawbank \u201cLa Couronne\u201d branch, this edition of the Ladies Brunch welcomed Congolese women entrepreneurs working in various sectors in the Democratic Republic of Congo.<span class=\"gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p1\">In an impressive decor with an agenda highlighting several female participants, the various guests, women entrepreneurs and members of the Lady\u2019s First programme participated in a presentation of trophies recognizing their distinction in the exercise of their activities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p1\">\u201cAs long as there are projects led by women, Rawbank will be present for each one of them. As long as there are women entrepreneurs, Lady\u2019s First will be by their side,\u201d said Ms. Jo\u00eblle Kabayo, the Lady\u2019s First programme manager. \u201cThis meeting is an annual event at which the bank highlights women of distinction for two reasons: First, to encourage them and second to demonstrate our determination to support them in the formalization of their businesses,\u201d she added.<span class=\"gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p1 translation-block\">In addition to the certificates given to the various beneficiaries, particular emphasis was placed on following up the training to strengthen their managerial capacities from which they had benefited throughout the year. \u201cDuring my last training in the programme, I was able to equip myself with the necessary tools for the advancement of my business and I take this opportunity to encourage women to join this programme that is so beneficial and promotes entrepreneurship\u201d said Chantal Adjovi, Lady\u2019s First member.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p1\">Nadine Tshilombo, member of the Congolese diaspora, thanked the Bank for this commendable initiative, part of the calendar of annual activities of great scope in the DRC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p1\">This was also an occasion for the presentation of a special prize to Sukaina Rawji, member of the Rawji Foundation, for her commitment to providing concrete solutions to the needs of Congolese women entrepreneurs.<span class=\"gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>Sukaina RAWJI, membre de la fondation RAWJI, pour son engagement \u00e0 apporter des solutions concr\u00e8tes aux besoins des femmes entrepreneures congolaises.<span class=\"gmail-Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"gmail-p2\">This award ceremony was followed by a cocktail, a visit to the different stands and a fashion show highlighting the African fabric, pagne.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"gmail-p4\" style=\"text-align: center\">What is most important to us is to succeed with you.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Devenu un \u00e9v\u00e8nement annuel de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence pour la femme entrepreneure congolaise, RAWBANK, \u00e0 travers son segment Lady\u2019s First, a organis\u00e9 la 2\u00e8me \u00e9dition du Ladies Brunch \u00e0 Kinshasa.\u00a0 Cette action qui a cl\u00f4tur\u00e9 la fin du mois de la femme symbolise l\u2019engagement de la banque pour la promotion de cette derni\u00e8re.
