Rawbank, the sponsor of the event and a bank committed to the promotion of women entrepreneurship, received a trophy to highlight its Lady\u2019s First programme and its support to Congolese women entrepreneurs.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>On March 30 in Kinshasa, a Women in Business workshop was held at the Sultani Hotel. Nearly 200 participants gathered around a programme focused on training, coaching, business lunches, and speed meetings, awarding certificates signed by Gilles Atayi from KPMG. The signing of the Women\u2019s Empowerment Principles charter of UN Women also took place.<\/p>\n<p>Rawbank, the leading banking institution in the DRC, was one of the sponsors of this great meeting whose aim was to improve women\u2019s leadership, either in entrepreneurship or in the exercise of their functions in a company.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRawbank\u2019s involvement in the entrepreneurship of Congolese women is no longer in question. Through the Lady\u2019s First programme, we position ourselves alongside women for better financial inclusion, access to first-class banking services and training that will allow them to improve the performance of their business\u201d said Rita Masengo, Rawbank\u2019s Institutional Communications Manager.<\/p>\n<p>Gilles Atayi, the main trainer, insisted on the role of the woman leader in her functions. \u201cWomen, you are a leader as soon as you bring a decision to its execution. Leadership is naturally in you, you just have to recognize it, develop it and use it better\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Rawbank was represented by a delegation of women holding positions of responsibility within the Bank and also received a trophy of the Active Woman for its involvement and its banking innovations in favour of women entrepreneurs in the DRC.<\/p>\n<p>Awa Seck, representative of UN Women in the DRC took the opportunity to express her admiration for this initiative and encouraged companies such as Rawbank to adhere to the charter that governs the principles of women\u2019s empowerment within the programme \u201cHeforShe\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Rawbank\u2019s involvement in this fruitful day once again shows the Bank\u2019s commitment to its policy of promoting women entrepreneurship and to continuously providing its employees with the necessary tools and training for the smooth running of its activities.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\">What is most important to us is to succeed with you.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En cl\u00f4ture du mois d\u00e9di\u00e9 \u00e0 la Femme, le Women in Business a tenu une journ\u00e9e de coaching et formation pour le renforcement des capacit\u00e9s manag\u00e9riales.
